Greater Auckland is an independent, volunteer-run organisation for advocacy and analysis of urban issues. We’re all about improving the quality of our great city – how we get around, where we live, the ways we connect with each other.

We’re proud of the role we play in illuminating the future of our city. All year round, we provide informed commentary, insightful analysis and inspiring examples of what’s happening in transport, housing, urban design and public infrastructure in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland.

We work hard to raise the level of discussion. For over a decade, Greater Auckland’s work has been delivered entirely pro bono by our core team and by guest contributors keen to lend their expertise to the cause. Looking ahead, we want to be able to sustain our mission and support our crew, while ensuring our work remains first-rate and accessible to all.
